Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut in professional boxing. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then able to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina through the ground and pound strategy, resulting in the TKO 2nd round win. Ladd remained in the lead, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd was victorious in round one and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
